the title got me…i was actually thinking of a ‘toad.’ this looks interesting and might give it a try. or i’ll ask the better cook in the family to give it a try…lol.

noticed a typo… yes… milk is added to the batter to make it creamy… it says mix in the text…

Hi I am originally from the UK but haven’t had A toad for as long as I can remember you have a simple recipe that reminds me of my mum cooking Toad in the hole when we were kids.

Richard cooks this every now and then. His dad who’s from Lancashire introduced him to this. My little boy Mitchell surprisingly likes both yorkshire pudding and toad in the hole.

I think I’ll try making this at home. Andreas loves yorkshire pudding and sausages.. so I’m sure for both to be in the same dish would just be heaven for a 3 year old. Ta for the recipe..

My friend Brian in Fort lauderdale loves to joke about no matter how fancy of a restaurant you dine at in London they will ALWAYS have bangers and mash on the menu.

We were at the Automobile Club in Londo – one of the oldest country clubs in the world and really high end……….. yup!! they had bangers and mash!

Yorkshire pudding batter + sausages (aka bangers) = heavenly toad-in-a-hole !

I think the difference between the batter that I make with Stephen’s is I add in some milk.

Haven’t had that for a while.
Maybe that’s what we should have for dinner.
