Richard cooks this every now and then. His dad who's from Lancashire introduced him to this. My little boy Mitchell surprisingly likes both yorkshire pudding and toad in the hole.

I think I'll try making this at home. Andreas loves yorkshire pudding and sausages.. so I'm sure for both to be in the same dish would just be heaven for a 3 year old. Ta for the recipe..

We were at the Automobile Club in Londo - one of the oldest country clubs in the world and really high end........... yup!! they had bangers and mash!

When I made the toad in the hole I was freshly back from the gym... Does that answer the calorie question?

Yorkshire pudding batter + sausages (aka bangers) = heavenly toad-in-a-hole !

I think the difference between the batter that I make with Stephen's is I add in some milk.

Haven't had that for a while.
Maybe that's what we should have for dinner. :)
