    Hi Sha,

This entry made me miss Trieste!….Spritz con bitter was my favourite Aperitivo when I used to live in Trieste. Love the bitter taste to it….I think this drink is very northern italian!..love it!….
Am temporarily out of EU now, will be in NYC for awhile…hope to move back to that continent soon though! Love the lifestyle there.

    Hey Sha,

Your post is very timing, as I am having second thoughts of hopping over from Nice to Liguria (Portofino and Cinque Terre) at the end of the month due to the cold weather and having to fly back from Pisa at a time not convenient with my schedule. My Italian colleagues were telling me its not really that cold, but mild – what do you reckon? But, I am still haunted with the Italian culture, sights, food, and the sphere – its just so strange, guess Italy does that to some people, or perhaps a lot of people? Will need to make a decision soon…

Maybe you can give me tips on great restaurants in Antibes. I am definitely checking the market there, said to be a ‘must see’ and ‘must experience’.
